Making eco-friendly and sustainable choices is incredibly important to us at Salt Art Supply, and being by the sea in Falmouth only helps to highlight the importance of caring for our planet and its oceans.

We try our best to offer more considered and eco-friendly choices of art materials and stationery products in our store. We want to encourage more thoughtful purchases, to allow artists to make better choices for the planet within their creative practice. 

 

Our Suppliers

Although we stock a variety of trusted and well-known suppliers, who we've chosen for their quality and reputation within the creative community, we're always on the lookout for more eco-conscious products and alternatives. 

When choosing products to stock, we try to choose eco-friendly ranges from our suppliers first, and always look for wood, metal or ceramic alternatives to products made of plastic. Many of our suppliers offer their goods 'naked', and we will always choose a packaging-free option if it's available and suitable for the product.

We're working on adding specific credentials and information for each brand we stock - this feature will be coming soon!

 

Packaging & Delivery

All paper and packaging materials have been sourced from eco-conscious and sustainable suppliers. We've chosen recyclable and biodegradable packaging supplies over plastics where possible, including strong paper tapes and paper filler. 

If you've received a parcel that looks a little wonky, don't be alarmed - we also love to re-use the boxes and packaging we've received from our suppliers to ensure our business produces as little waste as possible.
