Restore varnished paintings with Winsor & Newton's artists' picture cleaner. This natural resin and oil emulsion cleaner helps remove surface build-up and the products of oxidation, transforming paintings back to their former glory simply and inexpensively.
Please note that this picture cleaner will remove surface dirt and the products of oxidation, but not old varnish. The cleaner can be used to treat unvarnished paintings but great care should be taken and the cleaning stopped if any colour begins to come off. If in doubt, please consult a professional picture restorer.
- Available in a 75ml recycled bottle.
- Made from an emulsified mixture of Copaiba balsam, dipentene and pine oil with ammonia.
- Shake before and during use as the mixture may separate.
- Works by dissolving linseed oil oxidation, removing surface dirt and the products of oxidation in the old varnish.
- When cleaning is complete, any residue cleaner should be removed with distilled turpentine.

Locals, we've got you covered - we offer free Click & Collect from our Falmouth store!
If you select this option at checkout, your order will be available to collect within 1-2 working days. Orders are to be collected only when our shop is open, from Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm.
